Are you looking for a way to secure your family’s future and protect your hard-earned assets?  One way to do this is to create a comprehensive estate plan. Watch this short video to learn about how you can get started planning.

Leaving your Legacy

Do you have a comprehensive estate plan?  If not, HERE are some things that are fun to think about.  If you die or become incapacitated, do you know what will happen to your home, your business and its employees, investment assets, and personal property?  Without an estate plan, some or possibly all of those decisions will be made by the courts.  Do you think it’s likely that the courts will divide your assets exactly the way you would have wanted?

Preparing Before You Need It

Do you have minor children?  If so, who will be their legal guardian until they reach age 18?   Without a plan, the courts will make this decision as well..……..AND they will determine where they will stay until that decision is made.  How long do you think that will take?

How Will This Help Me?

If you become incapacitated, who will make your FINANCIAL decisions for you?  Who will make your HEALTH care decisions for you?  If you are terminally ill, how long will you remain on artificial life support?

If you become incapacitated, who will make your FINANCIAL decisions for you?  Who will make your HEALTH care decisions for you?  If you are terminally ill, how long will you remain on artificial life support?

These are all questions that no one really WANTS to think about.  But wouldn’t you rather answer those questions yourself, as opposed to letting the courts decide for you?  If your answer to THAT question is yes, then you need a good estate planning attorney who can guide you through the process of creating a plan for your unique estate, and family dynamic, assuring that family harmony is a priority.
